Project 3

This project uses the fibonacci pattern in a succulent plant as a generative tool. A voronoi sequence of triangulation was generated from an examination of the dark and light values of the image, from which a structural matrix was derived. Within this matrix was embedded an outer skin of glass and a porous inner skin with a halftone-like pattern cut from the same image. This new skin replaces the old walls of the FAB gallery space creating a dynamic space that engages the occupant with the phenomena of light.
